Managing Director, Ian Muir has been intimately involved in the construction industry for over 35 years, and has established an enviable reputation for his knowledge, integrity, attention to detail and ability to bring projects in on-time and on-budget.

He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and the Association of Project Managers and has an MSc in Construction Management.

The Company is renowned for the diversity of its work. Ian Muir and his team will undertake a wide variety of schemes from project-managing long term, multi million pound builds such as Care Villages, to residential property developments taking just a few months.

Benchmark Brighton operates extensively across the South of England. In the South West, completed projects include a refurbishment and new-build extension for a Charity of Nuns in Plymouth, a fire damage rebuild for a loss adjustor in Melksham and two new Care Villages in Nailsworth and Westbury. In the South East, we have supervised the demolition of an unsafe building, project managed the erection of the Brighton Wheel, and we have built a state of the art eco-house with natural swimming pool on the Sussex Downs. We are qualified to undertake Party Wall work and act as CDM Consultant.
